Each Enteric coated tablet contains:
Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate BP
Eq.to Esomeprazole 40mg.
StomaCure 20
Each Enteric coated tablet contains:
Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate BP
Eq.to Esomeprazole 20mg.
Mechanism of action:
Esomeprazole is the S-isomer of omeprazole and reduces gastric acid secretion through a specific targeted mechanism of action. It is a specific inhibitor of the acid pump in the parietal cell. Both the Rand S-isomer of omeprazole has similar pharmacodynamics activity.
Indications:
- Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD)
- Erosive reflux oesophagitis
- Prolonged treatment after IV induced prevention of rebleeding of peptic ulcers.
- Zollinger Ellison Syndrome
