Each 5 ml Suspension contains:
Amoxicillin 125 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid 31.25 mg (as potassium clavulanate).
AugmaCure suspension 228 mg
Each 5 ml Suspension contains:
Amoxicillin 200 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid 28.5 mg (as potassium clavulanate).
AugmaCure suspension 312 mg
Each 5 ml Suspension contains:
Amoxicillin 250 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid 62.5 mg (as potassium clavulanate).
AugmaCure suspension 457 mg
Each 5 ml Suspension contains:
Amoxicillin 400 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid 57 mg (as potassium clavulanate).
Mechanism of action:
Amoxicillin is a beta-lactam derivatives, has a bactericidal effect by inhibiting the synthesis of the cell wall.
clavulanic acid is a beta-lactam derivatives, has an inhibitory effect of the beta-lactamase enzyme.
Indications:
Lower dose: mild to moderate infections (upper respiratory tract infections e.g. recurrent tonsillitis, lower respiratory infections and skin and soft tissue infections)
Higher dose: serious infections (upper respiratory tract infections e.g. otitis media and sinusitis, lower respiratory tract infections e.g. bronchopneumonia and urinary tract infections)
